Training tips

Ask for tips on rest, sets and reps. The answer is based only on the numbers you enter on this page or have saved in LiftNumbers.

Test version. When you press Get a tip, the data shown below is sent to an AI to write the answer (through the Dify service). Dify stores the question and the answer in its log. No name, email or other identifier is sent. LiftNumbers' other calculators send nothing.

How training tips work

Choose a question and, if you like, enter today's set. You can also include the max estimates you saved in the one-rep max calculator and your bodyweight. Before sending you can see exactly what data will be sent.

The answer is written by an AI based on widely used strength training principles. It is a rough tip, not a personal coaching programme. Check calculations such as loads and plates with the site's calculators.

After the answer you can continue with follow-up questions, for example tell the RPE of your set or ask for details. A follow-up sends only the text you write; the conversation remembers your earlier data. The number of messages is limited: each visitor can ask a few times an hour, a conversation allows five follow-up questions, and the whole service has a daily maximum.

Results are estimates and do not replace advice from a coach or healthcare professional.
